Young Dunwoody lacrosse team finishes season with a convincing win

The 4-year old, varsity, boys lacrosse team at Dunwoody High School finished the season Saturday with a 22-7 win over Lakeside Dekalb HS. Goal scorers included four of the five seniors playing in this, their last game for DHS: Kirvin Davis, Joseph Keen, Korey Lowrey, Jack Martin and Daniel Pile
After a rocky start, the team (which is more than 50% freshmen) has won 4 of its last 8 games.
Under the guidance of coach Michael Sopko (who joined the DHS faculty in Fall 2014), and with promising young talent feeding in from the Jr. Wildcats program at Peachtree Middle School, the program is looking forward to an even stronger showing next year.
