Penelope Abellera lost her battle with osteosarcoma on Monday, November 25th surrounded by the most loving group of friends and family. Penelope graduated from Dunwoody High School in 2020 and was set to graduate from Georgia Tech next month. She deeply impacted everyone she met with her sheer determination, incredible intelligence, wonderful sense of humor, vision for a better future for everyone, and giant heart.
Please join me in honoring Penelope by placing a yellow ribbon on your mailbox. Yellow was chosen by her mom and her best friends because well….not only was Penelope a ray of sunshine, but yellow is the color of the childhood cancer ribbon.
