WXIA (NBC) and AT&T are not BFF right now… And you pay the price!

WXIA (NBC) not available on AT&T TV Service? No Problem!
Local Channels always seem vulnerable when service providers (Comcast & AT&T) negotiate for better carrier rates. However, don’t cry for WXIA (NBC). They are owned by Tegna, formerly Gannett Media, a multi-billion $$$ conglomerate and I don’t cry for them. (And I NEVER cry for AT&T or Comcast…) As they argue over who should pay what, you’ve lost NBC service on AT&T TV and so you can’t watch such shows as “Young Adults & Sometimes a Monkey Sharing an Apartment in New York”. So, you’re asking, what’s a work-around?
LOCAST! Visit LOCAST and sign up. Atlanta is one of 24 markets around the country where LOCAST is live. LOCAST allows you to view local channels as if you had a perfect set of rabbit ear antennas on your phone, computer, and TV via streaming services. It’s $5.50/month which includes all fees. (They say free but pay the $5.50/month for no startup ads and better streaming.) When my neighbor freaked out because he couldn’t watch the Steelers game on his $300/month Directv service, I set him up with LOCAST which made him extremely happy.
