Park Tavern is excited to announce the return of the 4th annual “Americana in the Park” presented by WRFG 89.3 FM on Sunday, March 3, 2019. Located conveniently off of the Atlanta BeltLine, partygoers are invited to rock out to an exhilarating mix of bands with proceeds benefitting WRFG, Atlanta’s independent community radio station for progressive information and quality handpicked music, and this year, a special honor is given to WRFG’s station manager, Joan Baptist, along with guest appearances by Seed and Feed Marching Abominable and folk legend, Frank Hamilton. A full day featuring the best of Americana, music lovers can sway along to the sounds of The Bonaventure Quartet, The Ghost Riders Car Club, and Russ Still & The Moonshiners. Park Tavern is also excited to announce and welcome Catherine Thompson, a 16-year-old self-taught yodeling cowgirl straight from Adairsville, Georgia, to this year’s lineup. Revelers can nosh on classic Park Tavern favorites such as burgers, tacos, fresh sushi rolls, handcrafted cocktails, frosty beers, full bodied wines and much more. Doors open at 12 p.m., and the music begins at 1 p.m. Tickets are available starting at $15, and will increase to $20 at the door. Children 12 and under will not be charged admission.
