As of Saturday, the #ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has raised an incredible $11.4 million (compared to $1.7 million in the same time frame in 2013) PLUS it has people talking about this awful disease. I lost my friend Jack Parker to this dreadful disease and have donated in his memory several times, All this awareness has made me donate more today!

I love the sense of community in the Ice Bucket Challenge from Dunwoody High School to Peachtree Middle. Both of my boys’ Principals are DRENCHED and in full support and I see tons of their teachers right alongside them raising money for this great cause while dripping wet and freezing!
