One positive from quarantine is that my inherited green thumb had a chance to learn and grow! My parents, my maternal grandfather and my paternal grandmother passed down my insane love for gardening. It’s been a joy to have extra time to spend in my yard. Here’s how this is a post for the community. I shop (too much) for plants but wanted to share a few places I buy plants in case you want your green thumb to get working!
My Secret Garden (so secret and awesome in Peachtree Corners)
Pike Nurseries. Holcomb Bridge mostly but the one near the Lindbergh Marta is AMAZING)
ACE (Dunwoody and Intown Ace in Decatur is fabulous!)
Gramma B’s Home & Garden (Sandy Springs)
Park Seed (online for my zinnia seeds)
The Home Depot (Doraville and Sandy Springs)
Lowe’s Home Improvement (Brookhaven and Sandy Springs)
And finally these two amazing places in my hometown
Tell us where you buy gardening supplies and plants! I can’t wait to discover more!
The best place…the only place…to buy quality Japanese maple trees and conifers in the Metro Atlanta area/State of Georgia is Maple Ridge Nursery on Covington Highway. Great owners and a huge selection of maple varieties in all sizes and price points. HIGHLY recommended.
