Excerpt from the Perimeter Pulse eNews on 9/13/13:
The Perimeter Community Improvement Districts (PCIDs) have received word that the Ashford-Dunwoody Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) has been nominated as one of 10 finalists for the national People’s Choice Award in America’s Transportation Awards Competition!
This award will be decided by popular vote of the general public. Voting runs September 4 through October 2. Individuals can vote up to 10 times a day for their favorite project.
To vote, visit http://nominate.americastransportationawards.org/voting.aspx and click on VOTE NOW
The state DOT with the winning project will receive $10,000. GDOT will donate that for college scholarships for students pursuing degrees in transportation-related fields.
We think Georgia’s First DDI – located in Dunwoody – merits this national recognition so please help us bring it home to Perimeter!
