AFS Intercultural Exchange has a student at Dunwoody HS – Matt Palka from Slovakia – who needs a new host family starting in January 2014. He will return to Slovakia in June 2014.
Matt is currently enrolled at Dunwoody High School. He was originally accepted to study in the US only for this semester. His experience has been a great one, and his family in Slovakia has agreed to support him to extend his stay here for the full year.
The problem is that his current family can only host him for this semester.
Matt is a fine young man, doing well in school, anxious to do well with his new family. He gets along great with his current host family, his peers, and hopes to play soccer in the spring. He needs a home without dogs or cats, because of allergies.
