This past weekend my mother and I went to Stockyard Burgers and Bones in Vinings. They just opened this second location in the Vinings Jubilee Shopping Center. The service was very slow so it may be a good idea to wait a few weeks until they work out some of the kinks.
All the burgers are made with fresh Certified Angus Beef, cooked “Pink or No Pink” and served on a toasted brioche bun. I ordered the Jane’s Not So Plain burger that comes with lettuce, tomato, smoked paprika aioli, and homemade pickles. This burger was very O.K. There were many interesting choices on the menu for burgers, so there’s a chance that I might’ve made the wrong choice. Mom had the Jalisco on a gluten free bun with pico de gallo, avocado, and chili lime mayo. Mom liked hers better than I liked mine. Despite my burger not being anything special, we both thought the atmosphere was solid. They had live music playing on the outdoor patio and the Vinings Jubilee shopping center is a cool location. If you go, try a different burger and you might have a better experience than me.
