The original Bocado in Atlanta, famous for their Bocado Burger Stack, has branched out with a new Bocado Burger fast casual location in Alpharetta in the new Avalon Shopping Center about 10 miles from Dunwoody.
After seeing this burger towards the top of many 
Atlanta food article lists, I couldn’t pass up the chance to try it and to check out Avalon. This burger contains two beef patties with American cheese, pickles, and mayo. All the many great reviews had me expecting a really great burger, but I was left disappointed with only a decent one. Nothing about the burger necessarily made it bad, but nothing about it really made it that special. Sometimes simple toppings are better when you get a nice piece of meat to go with it, but these were two very thin oniony tasting patties.
Good but not great….I’m still looking for a perfect 10.
