Join Dunwoody Community Garden and Orchard at Brook Run on Saturday, October 12th from 11am-12p, for a Master Gardener presentation on the importance of bees. Learn about their place in the environment, what they need to live, and what we can do to help them. You will also hear about making mead, or “honey wine.” The talk is free and will be held at the DCGO greenhouse complex opposite the skate park. If the weather is appropriate, there will be a live observation hive for viewing, and fresh local honey will be available for sampling and sale. 4770 N. Peachtree Rd., Dunwoody. www.dcgo.org.
