ATLANTA — Some metro Atlanta cities want to see if gondolas can help cure their transportation woes. The cities of Sandy Springs, Dunwoody and Brookhaven are expected to commission a study of that and other transportation alternatives.

Dunwoody Police ticketed the driver of an 18-wheeler Jan. 29 for running a red light that led to a crash on Chamblee Dunwoody Road.
The accident happened Friday morning.
