Perimeter Mall’s Apple Store to Double in Size and Move to Dillard’s Wing

Apple will soon relocate their existing store in Perimeter Mall to a larger space.  Currently located in the main corridor on the second floor, the store will move to a larger space, also on the upper floor, but in the Dillard’s wing.

The current Apple store, which opened around 2006, is just under 4,500 square feet, whereas the new store will be about 10,000 square feet.
 

Dunwoody Loses Another Teen to Tragic Accident

Alexander (Ty) Flynn of Dunwoody was killed Friday in a fatal fall from a building east of downtown Atlanta.

Ty was a member of the Dunwoody High School Class of 2015 and a student at Georgia College and State University (GCSU) in Milledgeville.

Dunwoody approves $65,000 funding for design of Cotillion multi-use path

Dunwoody City Council voted May 9 to approve nearly $65,000 for the design of the Cotillion Drive proposed multi-use path to include sidewalks and bike lanes between Chamblee Dunwoody Road and North Shallowford Road. Sprinkle Consultants was awarded the contract for the design for its bid of $54,872, plus an additional $10,000 in contingency funding. […]

Dunwoody hopes to expand on a local event’s success by holding it at more locations.
The city currently holds Food Truck Thursdays at Brook Run Park, located at 4770 N. Peachtree Road. Food trucks from throughout metro-Atlanta gather to sell goods and create a family-friendly community atmosphere.
