This group of 30 kids were blessed with words of wisdom from the fantastic Steve Fortenberry. Listen to his encouraging advice for these graduates…..here are the highlights:
- Go. To. Class.
- Introduce yourself to every one of your professors.
- Wash all your clothes with cold water.
- Visit the Career Center at your school.
- Join an intramural team and play a sport.
- Learn how to change a tire before you leave for college.
- Treat every school day as a job.
- Network and start working on internships EARLY.
- Take a risk….”It’s time to leave the baby pool”.
- Write someone a hand written letter every week.

- Relationships
- Find someone older and someone younger to pour yourself into. This could make the world a better place.
