This Sunday, May 1, from 3-5 p.m., the Stephen Ministry of St. Luke’s is hosting a seminar called “Transitions.”
Dr. Skip Johnson, professor of Pastoral Care at Columbia Theological Seminary, will be our special guest to lead us in the conversation. Change in our lives is inevitable. Some changes we can plan for such as retirement. Even an anticipated change can come with challenges. We will discuss how to cope and adjust to changes that occur throughout our lives such as marriage, a new baby, empty nests, or a parent coming to live with their children in their golden years. We look forward to discussing how to successfully navigate the turns life takes. Light refreshments will be served.
