The Patch, an online news reporting service, released their annual list of 100 best high schools in Georgia and six District schools made the list. There are more than 400 public high schools in the state.

This listing takes into account key factors such as the strength of academics (50%), quality of teachers (10%), school resources (10%), the quality of student life (10%), as well as student and parent reviews (10%), to measure the overall excellence of the school.
