Basketball season is right around the corner and your friends at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church would like to invite all families of children aged 7-14 to join the Holy Innocents’ Youth Basketball program (HIYB). All participants receive a team jersey and a participation trophy at the end of the year.
HIYB provides a ministry that develops the minds, bodies, and spirits of children so that they may serve their families and community in God’s name. Each team has one practice (one hour) and one game (one hour) per week. The most important thing is to have FUN.
If you are interested in registering, please fill out the online form by November 8 – please click here now to register.
If you have trouble accessing the form, Upper School principal and league coordinator Chris Durst can send you a hard-copy form in the mail – just
send him an email at chris.durst@hies.org. You can also find the link on the HIEC website: www.holyinnocents.org.
The fee for the year is $140. Receive a $25 discount if you are willing to be a coach. Scholarships are also available – contact the HIEC clergy for details.

The league will inform you via email with any program changes. All registrants must be evaluated to assure equal distribution of ability amongst the teams. All evaluations will be held Nov. 17. Times for the evaluations will be emailed to the age groups the week of Nov. 10.
The season begins the week of Nov. 18 and ends with a round-robin tournament the first two weeks of February.
Note: some age groups, depending on enrollment, may play in the Dunwoody Church League games beginning in December, while the younger groups, depending on enrollment, will play an intraleague format. We are looking forward to another great season this year and having you as a part of it!
