Red’s Beer Garden Hosts Hurricane Ida Relief Day: Giving Soul Back To The Hospitality Industry

New Orleans-native and Katrina survivor, Caroline King, also known for her Bitch Beer Podcast, is teaming up with Red’s Beer Garden to show support for her hometown during their Hurricane Ida Relief Day benefit. On Thursday, September 30th from 6 p.m to 10 p.m., 10% of Red’s sales will be donated to the Lagniappe Krewe Emergency Relief Fund, a nonprofit organization established to help hospitality workers and their immediate families during emergency situations beyond their control, which have caused financial hardship. Guests who donate directly on PayPal, with proof of receipt, or with cash during the event will be entered in a raffle for a $100 gift certificate for Red’s. The winner will be announced at 10 p.m., but non-night owls don’t have to worry, being present for the drawing is not required to receive the gift card. Red’s will also be offering a red beans and rice special for $6 and will have Louisiana-inspired music playing throughout the evening that will bring the soul of New Orleans to Atlanta. Red’s Beer Garden is  located at 1328 Boulevard SE, Atlanta, GA 30315. For more information, visit  www.redsbeergarden.com  or call 770-637-2299.
