Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup salt
- 4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2 cups water
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- food coloring
Preparation:
Mix dry ingredients; add water, oil and food coloring. Cook about 3 minutes over medium heat, stirring until dough forms a ball and comes away from the pan. Do not overcook. Remove from pan and place onto wax paper. Store in airtight container.
Suggested colors:
Orange: Halloween and Thanksgiving
Green: Christmas
Red: Christmas and Valentine’s
Blue: Winter, Hannukkah
Yellow: Easter/Spring
