Do you ever feel like you don’t know where to start or what direction to take with the college application process? We’re here to help. Join us as Carol Doherty, an Independent Educational Consultant with DK College Consultants, hosts a seminar for high school parents. Carol’s focus is finding the “best fit” college for her students academically and socially while staying within the family budget. The seminar will provide an overview of major milestones for parents and students to consider in the process: major/career considerations, standardized testing, the college search, college visits, the application process and financial considerations. After her presentation there will be time allotted for questions. This free seminar will be held on March 23 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Kingswood United Methodist Church in room 212 of the Community Life Center and is open to anyone who wants to know more about the college enrollment process.
