My cousin’s 15 year old daughter Layla was in a terrible 4-wheeler accident 2 weeks ago. She was given a minimal chance of survival, but she did miraculously despite terrible widespread injuries. Layla has a long road ahead given her severe brain injury but has been accepted to Shepherd Center here in Atlanta for treatment. Her family is uprooting their entire lives from Florida and will be living with us here in Dunwoody. Since Layla’s accident their community in West Palm has been tying pink ribbons on their mailboxes/homes as a sign of support for the family. The family arrives here Wednesday June 8, would you join me in displaying a pink ribbon for Layla for a week or so to welcome them to Dunwoody? We know our local community is the greatest.
