The Summer 2016 session of PALS (Perimeter Adult Learning & Services), which is being held at the Dunwoody Baptist Church, begins on Monday, June 13, 2016 and runs every Monday for 6 weeks through July 25, 2016 (no classes on Monday July 4). The classes are offered in three time slots, 10:00-11:00, 11:15-12:15, and 1:00-2:00. The cost is $45 for the entire session or $8 for a single day. Lunches can be purchased for $8 with advance reservations or can be brought from home.
Classes for this Summer session include The Constitution, Beautiful Geological Marvels, Estate Planning, A History of the World in Six Glasses, Travelogues, Current Events and Local Parks and Gardening. All speakers are retired professionals who speak on their area of expertise, with many having a strong following from year to year.
