No-cost BRCA testing through Emory Study for Ashkenazi Jews

Ashkenazi Jews are at 10 times greater risk for mutations in the BRCA genes that increase their risk for breast, ovarian, prostate and pancreatic cancers, even if they don’t have personal or family histories of these cancers. If a person knows they have a mutation, they can take action to help prevent cancer and save their life. JScreen at Emory’s PEACH BRCA Study is offering no-cost, at-home education, testing and genetic counseling services for Atlanta men and women with Ashkenazi background, who do not have personal or close family histories of these cancers.
