New Brookhaven Alert system sends emergency info to residents

The city of Brookhaven announced that Brookhaven Alert, powered by Smart911, is now available to all residents. Brookhaven Alert is a free service that allows individuals to sign up for notifications sent from state and local authorities. Brookhaven Alert keeps residents and travelers informed on potentially hazardous situations involving weather, traffic and other emergencies. A presentation on Brookhaven Alert will be given at the Mayor’s Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, Sept. 20, at 6:00 p.m. at Brookhaven City Hall, 4362 Peachtree Road in Brookhaven.  Continue at MDJ Online
