My child is only 2 years old and we have already had to use the EpiPen twice to save his life. This is very challenging for us as my husband, my daughter, nor I suffer from food allergies. It really was incredibly shocking and surely has been a humbling learning experience which keeps us on high alert every single day. It is difficult for people not dealing with deadly food allergies to realize that one sip of milk, one bite of food containing eggs or peanuts could and nearly have killed my son twice in only two years.
