13U MV Mustangs “Select”
Our “select” team is for the player that eats sleeps and dreams of baseball.

Tuesday July 30th at 5:00

The Mustangs “Select” 2013-2014 travel team will consist of 8 position players and 3 utility players.
Each player selected will play a specific dedicated position for the season. This will allow for more playing time, more at bats, and more in depth instruction all due to a lower number of players on the roster. The theory is, if selected, your position is yours and you will need to play that position to best of your ability and strive to be the best at that position. This “select” team will play a fall league schedule, indoor winter conditioning and a long summer league and tournament schedule at the highest level possible.
• Players need to know the game of baseball and be willing to learn more
• Must have travel ball experience
• Needs to have a strong personality and be able to lead
• Must be able to field his position at a high level
• Must be able to pitch well
• Must be able to hit well
• Must be able to commit to being at every practice, league and tournament game
You will have to weigh the pros and cons and decide if this type of “select” team is right for your son and family. There is a lot of baseball and baseball events scheduled for this team starting in August 2013 through June 2014 (fall, winter, spring and summer). Please be sure you’re up for this type of team before tryouts.
