I was having an outdoor social distanced lunch with my friend, Kim W. this week and we were casually discussing starting a weekly or monthly empty-nester movie night out. But alas…COVID. Imagine my delight to discover some theaters are opening today with limited seating and mask rules! I used this link to discover open theaters near 30338. There are a couple of new movies out…mostly these theaters are showing oldies but goodies. I was considering discussing a movie date night with my husband for tonight so clicked around to see what seats are available at my favorite movie theater (The Springs Cinema and Tap House). They promise social distancing and have several COVID guidelines in place….but none of the movies available get me fired up enough to take the risk.
I’m personally dying to see Tenent because I always have and always will be “Team Edward” plus my oldest son has me fascinated with Christopher Nolan flicks. I’m going to wait until it comes out, book a safe seat online, and plan to wear my mask throughout the movie. September 3rd will be here soon so I can wait! Maybe we’ll try an outdoor movie this weekend?
