Dunwoody, GA – By popular demand, Monarchs & Margaritas is coming back to the Dunwoody Nature Center for a third year. This year’s event look to top the success of last year that resulted in generating more than $100,000 towards the programs and park improvements of the Nature Center and will feature a great new addition to the M&M lineup – Martinis! The Nature Center invites the community to join them for an upscale casual party that will feature a metropolitan vibe with sophisticated American fare from the Brooklyn Café, jazz music, and a one-of-a-kind martini bar where guests will choose from a variety of swanky concoctions.

This year’s event is presented by Oldcastle with event sponsor Northside Hospital and will feature:

  • Live jazz music
  • Valet parking and steeply discounted Uber vouchers for guests
  • Featured cocktail: a dedicated Martini bar (as well as margaritas, beer and wine)
  • Catering from Brooklyn Café (and Dunwoody’s own Jeff Trump)
  • Tented party area

The evening will feature both a live and silent auction with items such as beach and lake home vacations, tickets to the areas cultural and sports attractions, one-of-a-kind experiences, and much, much more.

The Nature Center is also be offering its popular luxury vacation raffle.  While the raffle winner will be chosen the night of the event, supporters do not need to be present to win – a great way to help the Nature Center if you can’t make the event. The lucky raffle winner will be able to pick their own paradise with a choice of a trip for two to the beaches of Bermuda or the slopes of Whistler, British Columbia.

The spring’s premier social event of the season will be attended by the civic, business and government leaders of Dunwoody and all proceeds from the event will benefit the programming, education, and outreach efforts of the Nature Center. Tickets can be purchased online at www.monarchsandmargaritas.org . The evening will also feature the presentation of the Annual Dave Adams award – the center’s most prestigious honor.
