They all have been served by our next Breakfast Speaker, Mike Moye. Mike has been working with Professional Athletes for more than 25 years. An honors graduate of Georgia Tech and Emory University School of Law, Mike began his career with one of Atlanta’s most prestigious law firms. In 1993, Mike founded Moye Sports Associates, Inc. and in 2011, was named by Forbes as one of baseball’s top contract negotiators.
Over the years, he has developed a niche in baseball circles with players with strong faiths. As a Christian, he aspires to have an impact beyond negotiating multimillion-dollar deals.
Last summer, he traveled to the Kenyan island of Mfangano, spending 18 days distributing shoes to orphans, painting a school, visiting hospitals and building huts for displaced widows. He also helped train a group of 40 local pastors in “basic Biblical truths” and the concept of living in peace despite philosophical or religious differences.
