Last year I visited the Consumer Innovation Center for the first time and told you all about How You Can Get Paid to Give Your Opinion About What Goes on Store Shelves! Today I took Peggy along with me and now she’s already signed up to be a possible tester! We met two testers that are part of a specialized panel during our visit this morning: Jennifer and Quincy. We watched them do several taste tests. It took about 15 minutes and they each made a quick and EASY $25.
Quincy belongs to the Crunch Fitness around the corner and his office is nearby on Glenridge Drive. He tries to fit in several CIC appointments each week and plans them around his gym/lunch/work schedule.
Jennifer works at a wholesale costume jewelry business on Buford Highway. She says she can get to the CIC in about 10 minutes so she typically schedules testing opportunities around her work schedule.
Today’s test was fast….they’ve also participated in longer sessions which pay even more – $50 -$100+! They both laughed at how they used to give their opinions away freely…now they’ve found an easy and convenient way to earn money for their opinions!
The CIC is located next to Hob Nob and across from the former Cheeseburger in Paradise which is soon to be my fave restaurant, Superica! Developers are turning the road/parking spaces between the two into a more walk-able lawn area. The transformation of the shopping center is already underway.
Masks are required until you actually start the taste testing. Participants enter through the front door and exit through the back door to limit interaction with before/after groups. Parking is plentiful and convenient. The entire facility is very Covid safe and spotless. Each testing room gets a thorough sanitizing after each group finishes and before the next group arrives.
Bottom line – the The Consumer Innovation Center wants to add people to their database so they can get a wider variety of individuals to participate in:
- Taste Tests
- Focus Group Discussions
- Online Discussion Communities
- Individual Interviews
- Shop Along Studies, etc.
