I worked for Whole Foods when we learned that Trader Joe’s was making it’s way to Atlanta. It took me roughly 13 years to get on board. I’m pretty stubborn but now I’m a fully converted advocate. To be clear, I don’t do my primary grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s. I keep a majority of these products in my kitchen to make my life easier.
My oldest daughter only eats the English-style crumpets for breakfast, toasted with Kerrygold butter, but I love them with the TJ’s grapefruit marmalade or even better, the TJ lemon curd. The lemon curd is also great for yogurt, ice cream, scones, you get it.
I’m also a fan of the miso ginger broth. Throw some frozen TJ wontons in there and you’re good. It’s also great for ramen with sliced and seared TJ’s fully cooked pork belly or to flavor once frozen dover sole.
The chili onion crunch is one accoutrement that I’m not sure how I lived without. Just today, I threw a bunch on an avocado for snack. It’s great on tacos or in soup and add it to rice noodles or spaghetti and get instant dan dan noodles.
There are other items I love and some seasonal stuff that I get pretty excited about, but these are the items I keep around.
Although there is not a Trader Joe’s in Dunwoody, there are several nearby:
