Or maybe let’s not. Seriously, I’ve been wanting to write about this for two weeks but have decided it is kind of personal. I mean…..depending on what you are waxing you can get pretty up close and personal with your waxer…or what do you call them?…..”estheticians”.
Waxxpot owner and Aha! Subscriber, Sarah Alvarez, emailed to offer Peggy and me complimentary wax services in order to try out her new wax salon, Waxxpot. I told my mother I was going to do this and this is what she said “Audra, you told me the last time you waxed in college that you would NEVER do it again and for me to remind you.”

Lucky for me, Kyrena was my esthetician. She was patient, informative, discreet, and totally made me feel comfortable. All of this informative chatter mostly kept my mind off the pain. But, let me tell you, waxing near your ankles and shins is PAINFUL. I’ve loved not having to shave for the last two weeks so it was worth it….. but who knew that leg waxing would hurt! Kyrena says most people say the legs hurt worse than anything. Yep, she meant anything.
