Jurassic Park in 3D – movie review

Synopsis:  During a preview tour, a theme park suffers a major power breakdown that allows its cloned dinosaur exhibits to run amok.  Universal Pictures will release Steven Spielberg’s groundbreaking classic JURASSIC PARK in 3D on April 5, 2013. With his remastering of the epic into a state-of-the-art 3D format, Spielberg introduces the three-time Academy Award®-winning blockbuster to a new generation of moviegoers and allows longtime fans to experience the world he envisioned in a way that was unimaginable during the film’s original release.

Rated PG-13 for intense science fiction terror

Movie Review:  My son saw it this weekend with a friend and they enjoyed it.   Probably not as much as I enjoyed it 1993 when I was in my twenties.  I can remember my roommate and I being scared when we went home the night we saw it because we were looking for mean scary dinosaurs to pop around the corner.   I hope I can find the time to take my younger son and don the 3D glasses to see it again in 2013!   My oldest said the audience chuckled when during the movie they were scanning in information with the “newest software” and all the characters were amazed at the technology…but it was ANCIENT and grainy and on a teeny tiny old square TV screen.   I’m glad they brought this movie back to the big screen for the kids of today to see!
