Join the Brookhaven Police Department in a Hot Pursuit

Taking place Saturday, Sept. 12, at 8 a.m., the Brookhaven Police Hot-Pursuit 5K & Tot-Trot is an annual fundraiser hosted by the Brookhaven Police Department Support Services Division.

The race/walk starts on Peachtree Road in front of the Waffle House near Dresden Drive, continues through Ashford Park and ends behind the MARTA Station on Apple Valley Road. The Tot-Trot is a 50-yard dash for children and begins immediately after the 5K. Parking for the event is the MARTA parking lot.

All proceeds from event participants and sponsors are used to support the police department’s “Shop with a Badge” Christmas program for underprivileged children. Participating children are members of the Brookhaven Boys and Girls Club and are accompanied by police officers, sheriff’s deputies, E-911 dispatchers, firefighters and other emergency responders on a shopping spree at Target.

Registration is available on Active.com and is $25 before Sept. 1. After Sept. 1 and on-site registration is available for $35.00.
