It’s a well known fact that the world couldn’t run without women (thanks, Beyoncé), and the world of beer is no exception. In celebration of this year’s International Women’s Day, Red’s Beer Garden is hosting a tap takeover all week long from Tuesday, March 8th to Sunday, March 13th. The six featured taps at Red’s will all be either brewed by women or owned by women, including the works of Firemaker, Gate City, Wild Leap, Elsewhere Brewing, and more. Delightful on their own, each of these brews can also pair perfectly with one of Red’s classic snacks, including the “Slaw Dogs Go to Heaven,” a salty sausage loaded with sweet slaw and chunky chili; the “Benteen Club,” a sandwich stuffed with smoked turkey, swiss cheese, lettuce, bacon, pickles, and mayo; and of course, the “Red’s Favorite”, a delicious dog topped with housemade pimento cheese, fig jam, and bacon. Hot dog and beer lovers are welcome to enjoy the celebration indoors with classic board games or enjoy some fresh air out in the expansive, dog friendly beer garden. Red’s Beer Garden is located at 1328 Boulevard SE, Atlanta, GA 30315. For more information, visit www.redsbeergarden.com or call 770-637-2299.
