Balance and Harmony Make Up Infinity Yoga
A little slice of tranquility will be making a mark on Dunwoody this May with the opening of Infinity Yoga’s second location. Infinity Yoga’s first location can be found in the heart of Brookhaven and the studio’s owners, Becky Nickerson and Matt Shechtman, pride themselves on community and being connected to the neighborhood, which makes Dunwoody the perfect spot with its intimate community feel. “Becky and I are so excited to open this Spring in Dunwoody,” said Matt Shechtman co-owner of Infinity Yoga. “We have always loved the small town feel of the area and cannot wait to be a part of the community and to support and give back to the City Becky grew up in.”
Infinity Yoga provides a knowledgeable, welcoming and comfortable place to practice yoga as well as enhance ones fitness, health, and well being. The studio offers classes for all levels, as well as private classes, workshops, and teacher training. And, Infinity Yoga is the only yoga studio in Atlanta that offers regular specialty yoga classes for endurance athletes, runners, and cyclists. Matt is a run ambassador for Lululemon clothing and a member of the Atlanta Track Club’s Elite Team, and has looked to developing yoga as a tool for performance, recovery, and injury prevention.
Lead instructor and co-founder, Becky Nickerson will teach several classes at the new Dunwoody studio and imparts her yoga knowledge from her education at the Himalayan Institute (500RYT), as well as her travels and trainings through Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Mexico. Along with Becky, 10 of the most experienced yoga teachers in Atlanta will offer their instruction at Infinity Yoga, including Sharon Caplan, Jessie Fletcher, Jenny Holding, Doug Johnson, Elizabeth Ocheltree, Erin Rogers, and Jennifer Smith.
The new location is comprised of two levels and encompasses over 3,500 square feet of space. Yoga mats, mat bags, and quality retail clothing items from Alo, Hard Tail, Sivana, Spiritual Gangster, and Manduka will be available for purchase, along with convenient over the counter items such as bottled water, small food items, and Arden’s Garden juices. The studio also offers a shower and plenty of convenient parking with access off Mount Vernon across from Dunwoody Village!
