How to keep white baseball pants WHITE!

Thanks to my friend Carol G., I’ve known about this secret laundry miracle for years!   I’m personally not worried about practice pants being white but for some reason I like to start the season opener plus as many games as possible with clean WHITE pants.  Thankfully my youngest has had grey uniform pants for the last two years and the grey certainly hides the dirt better!

Anyway…here are the two secret ingredients.

  1. Fels-Naptha
  2. Plastic Scrub Brush

You can click the Fels-Naphta website and see a demo on how to use this old-fashioned laundry bar.   I personally wet the pants and scrub the Fels-Naphta directly onto the baseball dirt then scrub more thoroughly with a plastic brush like you see above.   It works best if you treat with the Fels-Naphta right after the game or practice then put it straight into the washing machine!

You can find Fels-Naphta in the laundry detergent section of Kroger (and probably Publix too).
