Heritage Sandy Springs to present 3rd Annual Beer Fest at Heritage Green

beerHeritage Sandy Springs will present its third annual Beer Festival on Saturday, April 27, 2013. The Heritage Sandy Springs Beer Fest will feature domestic, import, and microbrew beers to sample, as well as great food and a variety of live music. The Beer Fest will be held at Heritage Green, 6110 Bluestone Road, Sandy Springs, GA, from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.

“Heritage Sandy Springs is excited to present this popular event again this year,” says Rebekah Henry Murphy, Special Events Director at Heritage Sandy Springs. “We have drawn a diverse crowd of beer lovers from Sandy Springs and North Fulton communities during the first two festivals.  As ours is one of the more intimate festivals, with short lines and great opportunities to chat with the brewers, the Heritage Sandy Springs Beer Fest has quickly become a crowd favorite”, Murphy continued.

The Heritage Sandy Springs Beer Fest is a fundraiser for Heritage Sandy Springs, a non-profit organization that operates Heritage Green, the four-acre city park located in the heart of Sandy Springs. The park houses the Heritage Sandy Springs Museum, located within an 1869 plain style farmhouse and containing two changing exhibit galleries and one permanent exhibit, which document the history of the Sandy Springs community.  Proceeds from the festival will benefit the many community-focused programs of Heritage Sandy Springs, including educational and heritage programs, cultural enrichment activities, and special events such as the Sandy Springs Festival and Concerts by the Springs.
