Many Veterans are returning home from a war that has been going on for more than ten years. Many, served multiple tours. I work with a Veterans PTSD Group and I am also a disabled veteran. I have never asked anyone for anything, but I would like to ask the AHA community to see if they can help a family that has a father and Mother that are strugeling through PTSD, Hospital Bills (Mom was in Hospital for 10 days during Thanksgiving for Double Pneumonia), Unemployment and Divorce issues. I am trying to put the following together for the Children for the Holidays. The family is living on 600.00 in food stamps a month. That is basically their income.
Daughter (7 years) wears 3.5 size shoes and 08/10 size clothes
Young Son (10 years) wears 5W size shoes and 10/12 size clothes
Older Son (16 years) wears 10 size shoes, Large Shirts, 28/34 Jeans
Girl wanted a Go Cart (I have purchased it)
Young Son wants a (BMX size 20 bike)
Older Son wants (HTS Wildfire Phone from Metro PCS) or Xbox Halo 4 Game
If you could help out with any of the items above or Publix, Kroger cards, financial gift card, it would be greatly appreciated.
