Goodbye Jett Ferry Blockbuster hello Chase (yes, another bank in Dunwoody)

chase bankMy email and phone started buzzing with excitement yesterday when a fence was placed around the old Jett Ferry Blockbuster location.   I checked with John Heneghan last night and he informed me of the following:  “The property is zoned neighborhood shopping / commercial and the owner of the land can develop it as he sees fit within the allowances of the zoning code and a bank is an allowable use for the area.”

Yep, we are getting another bank…Chase Bank to be exact.

  1. Great, at least it’s being developed. I have heard a rumor that the ACE Hardware has also been leased. Any ideas or rumors about that?

  2. Good to know! I wish it was something more exciting, but oh well, at least like Adam said, it’s being developed. If ACE has been leased that would be great too! I live at that end of N. Peachtree though, and want something I will use to go in that shopping center, but not too good where I get more traffic by my house. What can I say, I am hard to please-haha!
