At the Georgia High School Fencing League’s December tournament, DHS fencer Josie James earned her 2nd gold of the season while teammate Megan Murphy took home bronze. DHS traveled to Pinecrest Academy for the December 14 tournament where our women’s team easily held their #2 ranking. The men’s team is in 6th place with the league, and both the men and women are in good position for the upcoming February team championship.
Eight DHS fencers placed in the top 16 allowing them to earn points for Dunwoody: Josie James, Megan Murphy, women’s captain; Sam James, Samantha Kasowski, Blake Donovan, men’s captain; Taylor Taliaferro, Sydney Hilgert, and Jeffrey Berkowitz.
