Looking to give your son all the adventure Scouting has to offer while strengthening his Jewish heritage? Join us in Pack 1818, a Jewish-themed Cub Scout pack, sponsored by the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta, that serves Dunwoody, Alpharetta, and the surrounding communities.
Beyond the normal excitement and activities of Scouting, such as hiking, camping, the Pinewood Derby, etc., we also have Jewish-themed events, including Sukkot-decorating, Shavuot hikes, and Hanukkah parties. We have dens for all ranks (Tigers, Wolves, Bears, and Webelos); Troop 1818 is available for Jewish boys old enough to be Boy Scouts.
Meet our current Scouts and see for yourself! You and your son can join Cub Scout Pack 1818 in marching in Dunwoody’s Fourth of July Parade! We welcome potential new Scouts in the 1st–5th grades (and their adult helpers) to join the Pack for float-building on June 29 at noon; the parade is on the Fourth, of course! Contact Janet Simmerman at jfsimmerman@gmail.com or go to pack1818.com for more details on this event and about joining this proud pack!
