Over the past decade, Dunwoody UMC has partnered with Rise Against Hunger to bring community volunteers together in assembling dehydrated meals for children in need across the globe. This year is no different. We have worked diligently with community leaders to ensure that appropriate protocols and social distancing are in place for the safety of all volunteers.
During the pandemic, the need for a successful Foodstock event is greater than ever. By this time last year, Rise Against Hunger had packaged about 51 million meals. But in 2020, only 6 million meals have been packaged so far. Let’s change that by eclipsing the THREE MILLIONTH MEAL mark in our history with Rise Against Hunger!
