FIGO Pasta Spreads the Love During National Peanut Butter Lovers’ Month

FIGO partners with the Atlanta Community Food Bank this November

ATLANTA, GA – FIGO is spreading their love for peanut butter over more than just bread! From Tuesday, Nov. 1 through Wednesday, Nov. 30, all seven locations of FIGO Pasta will be collecting jars of peanut butter – one of the most in-demand items among food pantries – to donate to the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) in celebration of National Peanut Butter Lovers’ Month. Guests who donate will receive a slice of Kenny’s acclaimed “I Love Peanut Butter Pie” from their neighborhood Italian kitchen for just $1.

As the holidays near, the need for stocked shelves at the ACFB becomes vital to the numerous community kitchens, childcare centers, food pantries, night shelters and senior centers that receive products from the Food Bank to distribute to low-income Georgians who suffer from hunger and food insecurity. Due to its high protein content and long shelf life, peanut butter is one of the most needed food items collected by the ACFB. FIGO will have a large bin set up at each location, encouraging guests to bring a new jar of peanut butter for the organization when they satisfy the craving for authentic Italian food at an incredible value. In recognition of guests’ generous donations, FIGO Pasta will dish out a $1 slice of “I Love Peanut Butter Pie,” a rich yet delicate pie with a moist crumbly crust and a thick layer of creamy peanut butter topped with a spread of chocolate ganache, made by locally owned Kenny’s Great Pies.
