Welcome back to school and to Fellowship of Christian Athletes! Our first FCA meeting for this school year is Friday, September 7! FCA meets most Fridays; the fellowship begins around 7:20 a.m. in the DHS Auditorium Lobby with breakfast of Chick-fil-A biscuits and drinks, and the program follows from 7:37-8:00. As always, the breakfast is FREE to all students who attend thanks to the generous donations from local churches, FCA families, and community supporters. Several biscuit orders during the year are generously donated by the PERIMETER POINTE Chick-fil-A (so please thank them for us when you visit there). The remaining breakfasts are kindly provided by parents…please click here for the sign up genius link to volunteer for fall semester It is easy and fun if you get a group of 6 together and volunteer for a Friday morning that fits your schedule! (We suggest 6 to keep the costs to about $50 for each person for a total donation of $300. More explanation is provided on the SUG page. The second semester sign up link will be sent at a later date.
We have lined up a fantastic group of speakers for this year! Games, trivia, and announcements precede their inspirational messages each week. Parents are welcomed to stay and enjoy the morning as well.
P.S. You don’t have to be an “athlete” to come. FCA is the official name but all students in grades 9-12 are welcome and encouraged to attend!
