The 2014 DSB fall season is just around the corner and we hope you’ll consider us as another option for playing some baseball this fall. We will have recreational-level leagues for 13-15 and 15-18 age groups, and they’ll run from early September to early November.
The 13-15 league will be mostly Sunday games until other fall sports programs are done, so that your son can play 2 sports without missing too many events. This league is also open to players who have aged out of the local little league programs like Murphey Candler. Registration is open until August 24, which will also be the day we hold player evaluations. Note that these are not tryouts, as all players that register by this date will be assigned to a team. These evaluations allow us to evenly divide the talent among all the teams.
The 15-18 league games and practices could be held on all days except Friday. Above-average 15 y.o.’s are encouraged to play in the 15-18 league rather than the 13-15 league. All players that register by August 26 will be assigned to a team, and we won’t hold evaluations for this age group.
Please go to our website www.DunwoodySeniorBaseball.com . There is a link to more information on these leagues under the “Playing Seasons” menu. There are also links to registration, with instructions. The website has recently been updated — we are proud to finally offer features like on-line payment, automatic email/text about games and field status updates.
Any questions, please call or email me.
Thanks, Vince
