Hybridity + Beauty by Heather Deyling and Manty Dey at Spruill Gallery
Spruill Gallery is pleased to present Hybridity + beauty, featuring Heather Deyling’s ongoing series “Invented Hybrids” and the botanical abstractions of Manty Dey. The exhibition will open June 20 and run through September 6, 2024.
Reception – August 22, 2024, 6 – 9 p.m.
Artist’s Talk – August 24, 2024, 3 – 4 p.m.
About this exhibition, Shannon Morris, Gallery Director, stated, “I am excited to bring together the visual textures created by Manty Dey’s floral abstractions with the “Invented Hybrids”, a series featuring drawings and sculptural forms by Heather Deyling. The work is beautiful, it is playful, and it really makes us think about the wonder of the world we inhabit.”
