Bring your favorite lawn chair or a blanket and join your neighbors for a free community tailgate featuring college football on the big screen at the tree lined lawn along the parkway outside Marlow’s Tavern and Karen Cannon Realtors. The featured game will be the University of Georgia against the Kentucky Wildcats (Time TBD), as well as other fan favorites during the day based on the broadcast schedule.
There is no fee to enter the tailgate area and seating will be available on a first come, first served basis. Enjoy a special tailgate themed menu of items for purchase from Marlow’s Tavern or try samples from Marlow’s Big Green Egg. The outdoor tailgate bar will feature a special signature cocktail and craft beer from Athens own Creature Comforts Brewery (sorry, due to current ordinances, no outside coolers or drinks will be allowed). Challenge your friends and family to cornhole, giant Jenga, and other lawn games. An on-site DJ will keep the lawn hopping during commercial breaks and announce giveaways from Marlow’s Tavern, Creature Comforts Beer, and others throughout the day. Four Fat Cows hand crafted ice cream will also be on-site to keep fans cool and satisfy any sweet cravings.
