I was lucky enough to spend a girl’s weekend at the beach with one of my favorite college girlfriends who happens to also live in Dunwoody….Patty Moncrief. She could not believe that I wasn’t aware that I could purchase fresh pizza dough and ingredients for a homemade pizza right out of the fridge in the back of E. 48th Street Market. It’s one of her quick and delicious “go-to” dinners that her whole family loves. Well..of course I had to try it immediately and stopped by E. 48th Street Market yesterday afternoon. I’m so glad I did! The pizza was fun to make and delicious to eat! I envision doing this a couple of times per month and changing up the ingredients every time! Another bonus: The entire meal cost less than $20 (If you don’t count the wine!)
As I’m typing this article I realized that there’s a video on the E. 48th Street Market’s website about how to make their pizza on a Big Green Egg. Obviously I’m going to try it that way next time!
*Please note that this is not a paid advertisement. These opinions belong to Patty and me. E. 48th Street Market’s owners do not even know about this post….that is until someone tells them! E. 48th Street Market is located in the same shopping center as the new Jett Ferry Chick-fil-A. I met the owners, Charlie and Anita, briefly last year at the CFA grand opening. They are an adorable couple with a gem of a shop! Stop by and see them!
