Dunwoody is the Dekalb County Wrestling Champion! They completely dominated the tournament this past weekend scoring 246 points, more than 70 points greater than the 2nd place team (Southwest Dekalb).
Twelve out of fourteen Dunwoody wrestlers placed in the tournament. 1st Place: Charlie Ruark @ 126 lbs, Andrew Fidler @ 132 lbs, and Adam Gromatzky @ 165 lbs. 2nd Place: Alex McKissick @ 120 lbs, Colin Murphy @ 138 lbs, and David Remigailo @ 175 lbs. 3rd Place: Jared Katz @ 106 lbs, Dylan Lynn @ 113 lbs, and Luke Cole @ 215 lbs. 4th Place: Ethan Rogers @ 157 lbs, and Steven Crespo @ 285 lbs. 5th place: Michael Lowenstein @ 144 lbs
Dunwoody had more wrestlers in finals than any other team (6), as well as more placers than any other team (12). Additionally they had a total of 43 wins and 24 pins on the mat – more than any other team. Go Wildcats!
